HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY // FELIZ DIA DE LA MADRE (INGLATERRA!)

Here's the card I sent to my mum for Mother's Day.

She lives in England and Mother's day

 is always celebrated in March there!


La postal que preparé para mi Madre en ocasión del día de la madre.

I thought it was really pretty..............

It's a design by Janet Briggs at craftsuprint.

With my own special touch,of course.

I used a lace punch along the cut vertical edges

 for a very feminine finish.

 

I've also added a die cut 3D green

 and purple butterfly to embellish.

 

 

I've used cristal stickles on the tips

 of the rose petals for a lovely shiny effect.

 

 

 

Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure

that my dear mum has received it!

Despite recorded delivery!

 

I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed crafting it for her!

BUTTERFLIES and WATERFALL CARD // POSTAL DE MARIPOSAS Y CASCADA

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CARDS!

UNA DE MIS POSTALES FAVORITAS!


I love butterflies, so efimeral and such intricate markings.

There is just something very special about them....

Me encantan las mariposas,su delicadeza y los dibujos de sus alas...

Tienen  algo muy especial.........

This beautiful design is from Deborah Davis at Craftsuprint.
It really inspired me to craft the card you can see.
I cut out a lavender border to the design,following the shape
then matted both on a lovely pale mint pearl A5 card blank.
I layered the centre frame with foam pads and added the butterfly
decoupage with silicone glue, shaping the purple butterfly downward
and the gorgeous pink butterfly outwards and upwards.

It is a really stunning card.
The butterflies were decorated with  cristal,
pink and lavender stickles glitter before I added them to the card.
I added 3 pale green cristal gems
 from each corner inwards to focus attention on the centre image.

I completed the card with a narrow
 mint coloured satin ribbon and bow around the spine,with another tiny gem on the bow.
I added a pale lavender silk paper insert with narrow double sided tape.

The result is a lovely feminine card that oozes peace and tranquility.

I was really pleased with the finished card.

BUCKETS OF LOVE VALENTINE CARD

Another cute and adorable design from Carol Smith at CUP.

 

I've mounted it on pink pearlised backing paper, layered with foam pads

and added bows, tiny pearl hearts and faux brads.

Este conejito es super simpatico con sus brazos llenos de montones de corazones....

 

 

CUTE VALENTINE CARD

This is a gorgeous card from Carol Smith at CUP.
 I've printed it on linen textured photographic paper to add to the textured soft feel.
Added decoupage with foam pads, decorated with  pink buttons and  pink satin ribbon
And a pink easter bunny!

It is soooooooooo sweet!

Una postal para San Valentin impreso en papel fotografico tipo lienzo.
Le da un toque suave al contenido.
